I hiked up the steep, rocky mountain, Mount Tip-Top. My pads scraping against the sharp pebbles and stones. I found a roomy cave at the center of the mountain, it was damp and cool, but it would have to do until I made it back my pack. I dug a little bit of the dirt out and made the small cave just around the size so it could fit two wolves if they really squeezed inside. I did this just in case some miracle came along and brought Bolt back to me. I shut my eyes trying to sleep but I'm unable to. The icey rain is falling from the maroon red/purple night sky now. It's dropped under 50 degrees now. It's very cold, but I don't feel it at all. My long multicolored fur is protecting me from the harsh winds. When the sun arose, I stepped out of the cave. I could see better now that the rain and fog had stopped. The sun was out and it was a warm morning to make up for the chilly night. Blue birds and Chickadees chirped at the golden orange yellow sun. I saw a small herd of deer not far from where I was. Just down the rest of the mountain and 12 meters to the west. I'm heading north but it's very close. They can't even see me, they can smell me though. I silently made my way down the mountain and when I got close enough to the deer I chose the older female will probably be easiest to catch because she still is healthy, but has less stamina and speed than the rest. I crouched down, adrenaline filled my body. I bolted at full speed singling the older female doe out. I pounced swiftly at the neck as my razor like teeth sank into the doe. She died instantly. I dragged my kill to the Middle packs and dropped it in the Center Pack's food storage ditch. It is hidden way up on top of the cliff we live under. The cliff is our lookout area. Since we are in the middle, and have this cliff, we can see all attacks coming in every direction, it's easy to defend. I then summoned my apprentice, Raavyn, to help me hunt. She will become a hunter when she turns 2, but for now I am the only one with enough experience at the moment to train. So I've taken her under my wing. She is a quick learner, and tries her hardest to please others.
